Michael Cooke Obituary
Greer
Michael James Cooke, 49, of Greer, died April 13, 2013.
Born in Willoughby, Ohio, son of Jan Cooke of Taylors and the late Stanley Cooke, he was a member of Lee Road Baptist Church and an employee of DXP Enterprises.
Surviving are his wife, Ellen Cooke of the home; three sons, Zachary, Joshua and Benjamin all of the home; two brothers, Gary Cooke (Barbara) of Greenville and Randall Cooke (Tamara) of Florida; one sister Diana Hudak (Gary) of California and several nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Lee Road Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Wood Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to Lee Road Baptist Church, 1503 East Lee Road, Taylors, S.C. 29687 or Greer Cultural Arts Council, 301 East Poinsett Street, Greer, S.C. 29651.

Michael was so helpful to me and my family at Lee Road,he made us feel welcome and at home.We will be praying for Ellen and the boys,I last saw him at Lowes and that same jolly,warm soul is what I encountered.RIP Michael and thank you for being such a blessing to so many people.

Michael, you enriched the lives of so many of us with your many talents. You were a family focused, God centered man. You were loved so much more than you could have realized.
