Greer
Letty Mirl Oliver Harrison, 87, widow of Dewey Harrison, died June 10, 2013 at Laurel Baye Healthcare.
A native of Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Eddie Roland and Hartness King Oliver.
Surviving are one son, Douglas Harrison and her caregiver, Dee Nix of Greer.
Mrs. Harrison was predeceased by a son, Lanny Harrison and a brother, Robert Oliver.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, conducted by Rev. Eddie Cooper.
Visitation will be held at the home of her niece, Dee Nix.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.

I had the privilege of working with Mirl years ago at the Greenville County Courthouse in the Microfilmining Department. We used to walk together during lunch and I enjoyed her company so much. Mirl was one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met. She leaves behind nothing but wonderful thoughts and memories.
