Ralph Pruitt Obituary
Taylors
Ralph Franklin Pruitt, 88, of 313 Tumbleweed Terrace, died May 8, 2013 at his home.
A native of Flowery Branch, Georgia, son of the late Samuel Wallace and Pauline Jones Pruitt, he was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and served during D-Day in Normandy. He was a self employed electrical contractor and a member of Taylors First Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Catherine Ballard Pruitt of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Debbie Pruitt of Taylors and Ricky Dean and Rose Pruitt of Greenville; a brother, Fred Cecil Pruitt of Simpsonville; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two step-granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Taylors First Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Jimmie Harley and Mr. Greg Sisk. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Honorary escort will be his Sunday School Class.
Visitation will be held 9:45-10:45 a.m. Friday in the gathering space of Taylors First Baptist Church.
