Vicki Iris Ashmore, 66, formerly a resident of The Cottages of Brushy Creek died Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at McCall Hospice House.

A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Grady B. and Alice Parrott Ashmore and a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Vicki thoroughly loved people and especially her family. She cared deeply for those who were residents with her at The Cottages of Brushy Creek and those who assisted her. She was a joy to all who knew her and truly loved her Lord Jesus Christ.

Surviving is three sisters, Mary Floyd, Betty Boyter and Marlene McCuen all of Greer; two brothers, Rudy and Fred Ashmore both of Greer.

Miss Ashmore was predeceased by a sister, Joyce Smith and a brother Jimmy Ashmore.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Ray Hatcher and nephew Robin Floyd. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 1:30-2:45 p.m. Saturday at Wood Mortuary.

The family would like to express their appreciation to all who assisted Vicki and made life more comfortable for her at The Cottages of Brushy Creek and to the McCall Hospice House of Simpsonville.

The family is at the home of a sister, Mary Floyd, Greer.
