Alexander "Alex" C. Beresh was called home to the Lord on Friday March 29, 2013. He leaves behind a brother John and sister-in-law Joanne of Williamston, SC, sister Evelyn Rogers of Wellsburg, WV, caregiver and special friend Peggy Roberts, and John and Betty Palmer. Alex was a Life Member of The Fraternal Order of the Elks No 441 of Massillon, Ohio, Blind Rehabilitation Center, ABRCAA, Seneca Masonic Lodge No 185, Seneca, SC, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Canton, Ohio 32 degree, Charles McGee Byrd Post 120 American Legion, Seneca. He was a past Post Commander and past 6 District Commander. A memorial service will be held on March 31,2013 at the American Legion Post 120 at 2:00 pm in Seneca, SC. Interment private at Dolly Cooper veterans cemetery. Cremation Society of South Carolina

We are sadden to learn of the passing of Commander Beresh. His service to our country and the American Legion is greatly appreciated. He will be missed by all who knew hin personally and his fellow Legionnaires.
