B.B. Stevens Obituary
Greer
B. B. Stevens, 84, of Greer, SC, died May 9, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born September 7, 1928, in Chesnee, SC, he was the son of the late Jesse Estus and Minnie Sue Turner Stevens.
A U. S. Navy veteran, Mr. Stevens was a graduate of Wofford College and employed with Brock Realty. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and cooking. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a longtime supporter of the Wofford Terrier Club and played football for Wofford College and the Navy.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Hurst Stevens; daughters, Kim Tolleson (Wayne) and Lori Cloninger (Rick); stepchildren, Diane Talbert (Chuck), David Hurst (Hilary), Amy Rush (Tim); grandchildren, Steven Tolleson, Clint Tolleson, Chris Cloninger, Ryan Cloninger, and Stephanie Blount; seven step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 1:30-3:00 PM Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Tony Martin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wofford Terrier Club, 429 North Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
