Piedmont
Rachel Durham Trotter, 83, of 306 Trotter Road, widow of Frank Trotter, died Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late George Hulon and Eva Mae Bagwell Durham. She was a homemaker and a member of Whitefield Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Jerry Trotter and wife, Rachel of Anderson; daughters, Beth Dalrymple and husband, Charlie of Belton, Kathy Webb and husband, Ron of Easley, Gail Trotter of Easley; brothers, "B.J." Durham and wife, Peggy of Anderson, Hugh Durham and wife, Elaine of Williamston; sister, Deloris Patton and husband, Dan of Piedmont; sister-in-law, Ann Durham of Piedmont; grandchildren, Chris Trotter and wife, Kimberly, Justin Trotter and wife, Candace, Joshua Wilson and wife, Jenna, Erin Wilson; great grandchildren, Nathan Trotter, Abigail Trotter, Lila Wilson.
She was predeceased by brothers, Ray and Marshall Durham.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Friday, April 26, 2013 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Whitefield Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mountain Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Rainey Hospice House, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.

My thoughts and prayers are with Gail and the family!! Heaven gained a beautiful angel yesterday morning!! Gail, I know how much your mom meant to you and how close of a relationship and special bond that you had with her! I know your sisters and brother did as well! Just by your sweet laughter and Infectious joy that God's Love and Amazing Grace effortlessly poured out of your heart, actions and words, makes me know without a doubt that your mother was an amazing woman of God just as I heard all the many stories of your fathers joy that he brought to everyone he came in contact with and vibrant acts of selfless kindness. Just remember through the tears and emptiness that They are HOME and you all will get to be with them for all eternity!! What a great homecoming that will be!
