David Vaughan Obituary

David N. Vaughan

Studio City, CA

David N. Vaughan Jr., 34, of Studio City, CA passed away Friday, December 6, 2013.

David was born August 23, 1979 in Greenville, SC and was the beloved son of David N. Vaughan and Nana Nicholson Mills.

David graduated from J.L Mann High School in 1998, where he participated in many sports and where he played Quarterback for the football team. In 2002, David graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Finance. He worked for Craig's in Los Angeles and had numerous routines as a stand-up comedian in many cities across the country, including L.A. and Chicago. David starred in the film "Don't Cheat the Kid" and was on the television shows "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "General Hospital".

He is survived by father David Vaughan and wife Lisa; mother, Nana Mills and husband Jeff; two brothers, Bradley and Laurens; sister, Caroline Vaughan; two stepbrothers, Tyler and Brantley Mills.

David was an avid Clemson Tiger and loved Clemson football. He was always giving to others, caring, and had the biggest heart. David was one of a kind, who was never short on wit and could light up a room with laughter and always the life of the party. He will be dearly missed and was loved by all his family and friends. Our world won't be the same without him. We were so proud to have a son like David.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Church Episcopal with the burial following in the Churchyard. The reception at the church to celebrate the life of David will be held immediately following the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Church Episcopal, 10 N. Church Street, Greenville, SC or Clemson University Foundation, P.O. Box 1889, Clemson, SC 29633.

There are no words that can ease your grief of loosing a loved one especially at this time of year; but if David is a Christian, there is no better time to go to be with the LORD than near his birthday. May GOD ease your sorrow.
