Dennis Michael Kennedy, 53, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in Greenville.
He was a loving and protective grandfather, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He had a heart of gold and soul of kindness. If Dennis wasn't helping you, it's only because you hadn't met him yet. May he rest in peace.
Dennis is survived by daughters, Karlie Michelle Kennedy of Greer and Ashley Denise Kennedy of Mill Spring, NC; grandson, Miller David Stroble of Greer; parents, John Joseph and Loretta Margaret of Taylors; brother, John Patrick of Greenville; sister, Loretta Ann of California; brother, Terence Mallon and sister-in-law Moogie Purevdorj; sister, Patricia Anne of Washington, DC; brother, Brian Joseph of Livingston, Montana; brother, Kevin Francis of Sullivan's Island; sister, Kathleen Mary of Folly Beach; nieces, Maya Cummins, Ashley Faire Kennedy, Maggie Kennedy, Zoe Schrader, and Maraljin Kennedy; nephew, Sanchir Kennedy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A funeral service will be held for Dennis Kennedy at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown at 639 N. Main St in Greenville on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. Dennis Kennedy's interment will be private.
Dennis's family asks that, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dennis Michael Kennedy Memorial Fund at https://www.youcaring.com/DennisKennedyMemorial.
