Anne Crickenberger Landers, 89, wife of the late Paul Landers, Sr., passed away October 12, 2013.

Born October 10, 1924 in Gulfport, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Franklin Crickenberger, Jr., and Bessie Wilson Crickenberger. She was a graduate of Rice University with a BS degree in Biology and Chemistry. She worked in the research department for Squibb before changing careers to teach first grade at Trinity Lutheran Day School and retired from Welcome Elementary.

Anne was a member of Buncombe Street United Methodist Church. She worked in children's ministry where she was in charge of the children's nursery and taught second grade Sunday School for 42 years.

Surviving are her three sons, Paul (Harriet), Don (Suzie) and Rick (Robin) Landers; eight grandchildren, Robert, Elizabeth, Catherine, Nancy, Frank, Ben, Katy and Jennifer, and three great grandchildren, Henry, Ella and Eva.

Services will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 3pm in the Remembrance Chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Congregational Care at BSUMC, PO Box 1988, Greenville, SC 29602.
