Betty Brown Trammell, 82, of Greenville, widow of Lowell Eugene Trammell, died on Wednesday, January 1, 2014.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Pearl Hartsell Brown.
Betty was a member of Park Place Church of God.
She is survived by three daughters, DeNear Roach (George), Lou Scott (Larry), and Kathy Aldridge (Tom); a sister, Joyce Norris (Johnny); a brother, Lonnie Brown; six grandchildren, Ryan and Carl Barnette, Julie Bradley, Jereme Roach (Tracey), Tori and Tina Aldridge; and seven great grandchildren, Andrew Hendricks, Alli Bradley, Brianna and Jullian Barnette, Austin Snow, and Landen and Colby Roach.
In addition to her husband of 53 years, she is preceded in death by a son, Carl E. Hicks; and a sister, Doris Miller.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with visitation prior from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, West.

The family would like to say thank you to the staff of NHC Mauldin, and a special thanks to Tim Bell.
