Bonnie Molgro "Snook" England, Jr., 74, of 112 England Street, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014.

A native of Oconee County, he was the son of the late B. Molgro, Sr. and Kizzie Dendy Fields England. Mr. England was the owner of Oconee Implement Co. He was a former Rotarian, City Councilman, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in the Cuban Crisis, Bay of Pigs. He was a member of the Westminster Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughter Andrea England Duke (Pat) of Westminster; sister Sarah England Bonner (Warren) of Gaffney; 4 granddaughters, Bonnie - Ann, Mary - Kathryn, Abby - Rose, and Lillian - Bethany Duke.

In addition to his parents, brother Lt. Col. William Dendy England preceded him in death.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2014, from the Westminster Baptist Church. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6 -8 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2014 at the funeral home. The family is at the home of daughter Andrea Duke, 231 East Bennett Rd.
