Mr. Ball passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 4, 2013. He was born in Grassy Fork, TN on September 19, 1930 to Mary and Benjamin Ball. He entered the US Army in 1948 retiring in 1969. A true "tanker" at heart, his years of service included tours in Germany and Vietnam. After retiring from the Army, he worked for Westinghouse, NFD for an additional 22 years, retiring again in 1991.

An avid fisherman, he was also known to appreciate an occasional game of chance with family, friends and retirees.
