Curtie Mae Cox Yeargin, 94, of Greenville, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012, wife of the late William Benjamin Yeargin.
Born in Turnerville,
GA, she was a daughter of the late Annie Carswell Cox and Arthur Norman Cox.
Mrs. Yeargin was a homemaker, and the oldest member of City View First Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Nancy Mace, (Charles) of Greenville, Connie Speer, (G. Mason Jr.), of Abbeville, and Myra Gallagher, of Greenville; grandchildren, Jennifer Simmons, Tripp Speer, of Abbeville, Benji and Britt Parent, of Dallas, TX; eight great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and special friends.
She was predeceased in death by a granddaughter, DeDe Mace, grandson, Barton Mace, three brothers, and three sisters.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 15, 2012, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The service will be Monday, April 16, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at City View First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
