Douglas Doyle Peach, 71, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Newton, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Oris Carroll and Pearl Fason Peach. Mr. Peach served in the US Army and retired from construction. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of twelve years, Sandra Fulbright Peach of the home; sisters: Faye Thompson of Hayesville, NC and Eyvonne (Michael) Cardinell of Greenville, MS; step-daughter: Tammy Robinson of Travelers Rest; step-sons: Michael Harbert of Iva and Jeffrey Harbert of Greer; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Carroll Peach .
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 7:30 p.m. and Friday afternoon from 1 until 2 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.
Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with entombment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Robinson, R.J. Leppard, Josh Harbert, Dickie Griswold, Nick Pulcine, Bevin McCombs, Braden Harbert, Wyatt Harbert.
The family will be at the home.
