Mama Kay, 88, widow of Garland Kay, died peacefully Sunday, December 15, 2013 surrounded by her family at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. Mrs. Kay grew up and lived most of her life in Six Mile.
Mrs. Kay was born in Greenville County, daughter of the late G. Dewey and Eunice Irene Willimon Hunter. She was retired from The Singer Company in Pickens and was a member of Smith Chapel Wesleyan Church.
Surviving is her daughter, Letha V. Kay of Liberty.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens with burial following at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
