Gregory Taylor Myers, 21, of 10 Glens Crossing Court, went to meet his Lord on June 20, 2013.
A native of Greenville County, he is the son of William Gregory and Lucretia Porter Myers of the home.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, William Jonathan Myers of the home; paternal grandmother, Betty S. Myers of Greenville; maternal grandparents, William Troy and Sara H. Porter of Central. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close family friend, Russ Frazier.
Taylor was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, William Herbert Myers.
Taylor was a graduate of Riverside High School, attended North Greenville University and a member of Taylors First Baptist Church. All who knew him remember his love for life, his inventive mind and his great heart. Taylor was known for his many talents and always being there for others in need. He seized each day and lived life to its fullest.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:30-4:45 p.m. at Taylors First Baptist Church Chapel with funeral service to follow at 5:00 p.m. at the Chapel. The service will be conducted by Dr. Jimmie Harley and Mr. Andy Bennett. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a trust fund in Taylor's memory to be set up through BB&T.
