Jane B. Black
Jane Love Butler Black, 85, of Taylors, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at her home on Linkside Drive. Born in Tabor City, NC, she was the daughter of Joseph Franklin and Mamie Bridger Butler. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Norman M. Black, Jr. and four sisters.
Surviving her locally are her son, David Armstrong, III and his wife Teresa; grandchildren, Rebecca A. Christy and her husband Brad, David Armstrong, IV and his wife Lauren; granddaughters, Catherine Love Armstrong, Bradyn Christy, Caroline Christy, and Hannah Christy.
The family will receive friends at the Armstrong home, 123 Linkside Drive, Taylors, from seven until nine o'clock in the evening on Thursday, November 14. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 16 in Bladenboro, NC.
