Lee Neely Obituary
Fountain Inn
Lee Andrew Neely, Sr., age 89, of 108 Woodland Drive, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
A son of the late Thomas R. Neely and Beatrice Neely, he was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Fountain Inn, a member of Alpha Lodge #124 Masons, where he served as Tyler for many years and a US Army Veteran serving in World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline D. Neely of the home; four sons, Lee Andrew (Gloria) Neely, Jr. of Fountain Inn, SC, Dr. Samuel Bernard (Christine) Neely of Mauldin, Thomas Richard (Sheila) Neely of Gaston, SC, Oscar Ray (Gayle) Neely of Simpsonville, SC; five daughters, Barbara Jean Neely-Bolden of Gray Court, SC, Sandra Beatrice Neely of Fountain Inn, SC, Joyce Elizabeth (Jerome) Neely Pitts of Mauldin, SC, Tracy Deneen Neely Irby and Kristy Shivae Neely of Fountain Inn, SC; two sisters, Annie Lois Stewart and Helen Neely of Greenville, SC; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon, Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, with Rev. Samuel N. Flint officiating. Burial will be 3 p.m., Sunday, April 21, 2013 in the Greenville Memorial Gardens, with military and masonic rites.
The family is at the home.
