Louise Bragg Suttle, 93, widow of John Odell Suttle, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 01, 2011.

Mrs. Suttle was born August 31, 1917 in Spartanburg, to the late John Henry Bragg Sr. and Sally Taylor Bragg. She retired from Laurens Mill and Durbin Creek Baptist Church. She truly enjoyed doing yard work.

Surviving are a son, Odell Suttle and wife Sadie; three daughters, Ada Terry, Mary Hopkins and husband Dan, and Laura Suttle; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Robert Terry; eight brothers and eight sisters.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service officiated by Rev. Don Stephens. Burial will follow in Cannon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to Durbin Creek Baptist Church, P.O. Box 508, Fountain Inn, SC 29644.

I was saddened to hear about Aunt Louise. Dixie, Brenda and I so enjoyed our visit with her last Fall and were looking forward to attending her next birthday celebration. She had a wonderful spirit and love of life.
