Marion Elizabeth Jenkins Eppes

Greenville

Marion Elizabeth Jenkins Eppes passed away on September 3, 2014. Born in Greenville, SC, she was the only daughter of Andrew Hazel and Marie Hill Jenkins. She was a World War II veteran who served one year and six months as a Private First Class in the Army Air Forces Base Unit. She retired from S&H Greenstamp Store. She loved sewing, working in the yard, and refinishing furniture with her husband. Marion was a member of the Greenville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday school.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years Jim Eppes; one son, Cary Eppes of Greenville; two daughters, Kitty Bost (Johnny) and Susie Eppes (Ronnie Miller) of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren Jill Bost of Greenville, Jennifer McCarter Thompson of Woodruff, and Courtney Miller of Waipahu, HI.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Greenville, SC at 1:00 pm with Funeral service at 2:00 pm and burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park. www.woodlawn-fh.com
