I knew Mickey through the Camperdown Historical Society meetings at Second Baptist Church. It was a privilege to listen to his stories of his many childhood memories. I always looked forward to hearing him speak. He will be missed.

My husband George and I considered Mike to be one of our dearest friends. We spent many evenings talking and laughing with him at our restaurant, Kostas. He was known and liked by our whole family. I will miss seeing him and hope that since George has recently passed away as well, they may continue their friendship. My deepest sympathy to the family as they go through this trying time.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mike. He was one of the kindest and sweetest people we know. We had many wondeful times while reenacting with him many years, with the Butler Guards. I know he will be truly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all
