Mildred Harvey Henderson

Fountain Inn

Mildred Thomson Harvey Henderson, 85, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 23, 2014.

Mrs. Henderson was born in Ninety Six to the late William Sanford Thomson and Bertha Thompson Thomson. She was a member of Fountain Inn First Baptist Church and the Ester Sunday School class. Mildred retired from Woodside Mills Beattie Plant and also served for 38 years as a Mary Kay Consultant, where she received numerous awards. She found great enjoyment in being a tour coordinator with Blue Ridge Tours for many years.

Surviving are a daughter, Judy Durham and husband Larry; and a sister, Nell Shoff. She was predeceased by two husbands, L.C. Harvey and Leonard Henderson; four brothers, Ralph, Guy, Bill, and Ray Thomson; and three sisters, Kathleen Walker, Louise Walker, and Margie Langford.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Arnold Hiette. Burial will be in Cannon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
