Otis Curtis Bagwell, 82, of Greenville, husband of Betty Jo Bagwell, died Monday, September 17, 2012.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Curtis Robert and Alethia Dill Bagwell.
Mr. Bagwell served in the U.S. Army and worked as a store manager for Winn Dixie. He was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge. Mr. Bagwell especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, and Nascar.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 58 years, are two daughters, Debbie Fisher and husband, Ronnie, and Donna Hamam and husband, Jamal; two grandchildren, Melissa Camak and husband, Blake, and Haley Hamam and fiancé, Amer Sayed; a great grandchild, Emma Camak; two sisters, Helen McKinney and husband, Ira Lee, and Ann Pace; a niece and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Morris Bagwell and a nephew, Casey Bagwell.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, September 20, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast, 1604 NE Main St. Simpsonville, SC 29681. Burial will be in Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
