Robert Brian Dobbins, 47, of Greenville, husband of Cheryl Driggers Dobbins, died Saturday, October 27, 2012.

Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late James H. and Evelyn Duke Dobbins.

Mr. Dobbins was a retired Lieutenant with the Berea Fire Department and co-owner of Dobbins Pest Control. He was a member of College Park Worship Center.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by sons, Rob Dobbins (Rachel) and Kevin Dobbins, both of the home; brother, Rusty Dobbins of Columbia; father and mother -in-law, Clyde and Esther Driggers of Piedmont; sisters-in-law, Pam Halsey, Rona Jacks, and Lynn Jones; uncle and aunt, Tim and Renie Raney; and cousin, Justin Raney.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2012 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Berea First Baptist Church with the funeral service following at 1:30 p.m. at the church. The Berea Fire Department will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brian Dobbins Scholarship Fund, PO Box 14571, Greenville, SC 29610.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Berea Fire Department for their support during Brian's illness.
