Texanna Mae Griffin Craig, 82 of 210 Oakwood Dr. and wife of Joseph "Joe" Keith Craig, Sr., passed away Monday, July 22, 2013, at the Hospice House of Laurens County.

Born in Abbeville, she was a daughter of the late Tullie Eugene and Pearl Gregory Griffin. Mrs. Craig was retired from JP Stevens Watts Plant and was a member of Welcome Baptist Church. She leaves behind her loving Chihuahua "Lady."

In addition to her husband, she is survived by: two sons, Frank Leo Hayes and wife April of Liberty and Joseph Keith Craig, Jr. and wife Shelia of Ware Shoals; a brother, Joe Griffin of Laurens; sisters, Barbara Templeton of Fountain Inn, Pearl Humbert of Greenwood, and Peggy Satterwhite (James) of Hickory Tavern; Grandchildren, Chris, Kelsey, and Ansley Hayes, Konner Johnson, Tracey Turner Davis, and B.J. Turner; six great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews that she loved very much; a special niece and caregiver, Joyce Howard of Hickory Tavern; and a special friend, Ms. Dot Cheek of Cross, SC.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter Kathy Jo Hayes Turner; four sisters, Kathleen Mattison, Evelyn Griffin, Nora Allison, and

Elizabeth Davenport; four brothers, Gene, Tullie B., Frank, and Robert Griffin.

Funeral services will be held at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel, Thursday, July 25, 2013, at 11:00 am, conducted by Rev. Ronnie Blackwell and Rev. Barry Brown with burial in Welcome Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at The Kennedy Mortuary from 10:00 to 11:00 am prior to the service on Thursday.
