Thomas Leonard (Tommy) Senn, 62, of Brown Bottom Road, died Friday, August 12, 2011.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of Dr. T.L. (Tee) Senn of Clemson and the late Marguerite (Reet) Busby Senn. Tommy was a graduate of Daniel High School and Clemson University. He served 21 years in the SC National Guard, retired from the School District of Oconee County and was a co-owner of Senn's on Sloan in Clemson.
Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Sonya Gay von Tungeln Senn of the home; son, Shane Senn and wife, Sarah of Clemson; grandsons, C.J. and Gabe Senn both of Clemson; his favorite ex-wife, Leigh Senn of Hendersonville, NC; his father and wife, Betty of Clemson; brother, David L. Senn and wife, Virginia of Clemson; sisters-in-law, Cleve Ann Senn of Clemson, Cheryl Johnson and husband, Tim of Corpus Christi, TX and Brenda Mangan and husband, Kevin of West Union, SC; brothers-in-law, Stuart von Tungeln of Albuquerque, NM and Eric von Tungeln and wife, Stephanie of El Paso, TX; nephews, Richie Senn and Rusty Senn both of Clemson; and father-in-law, George von Tungeln of El Paso, TX.
In addition to his mother he was predeceased by his brother, Dickie Senn and mother-in-law, Marilyn von Tungeln.
Graveside services will be at 10 AM, Monday in Woodland Cemetery (Cemetery Hill) on the campus of Clemson University with Rev. Keith Ray officiating.
The body will be available to view at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central on Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM.
