William Rollins Obituary
Campobello
William Earl Rollins, 88, of Wingo Road, went home to be with his Lord on April 29, 2013. He was son of the late Ed and Hassie McKright Rollins and husband of the late Aileen Brown Rollins.
He was retired from JP Stevens and was a member of Mountain View Church of God. He served in the US Army during WWII.
He is survived by a son, Samuel Rollins and wife Denise of Campobello; a daughter, Brenda R. Center and husband James of Landrum; three sisters, Myrtle Pittman and Janette Smith both of Campobello and Vivian Atkins of Chesnee; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00pm Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 at the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Tommy Turner. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
The family is at their respective homes.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Dr., Columbus, NC 28722.
