Patricia Dreger Rossi, 76, of Greer, wife of Ronald J. Rossi, Sr., died Saturday, January 12, 2013, at McCall Hospice House.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Philip J. and Elizabeth Cannon Dreger. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Rossi worked as a teller with Bank of America. She was an avid reader and loved to travel.
As a charter member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Mrs. Rossi volunteered in various ministries. She served as a Eucharistic Minister and Religious Education teacher for high school students. Together with her husband, they served as the Marriage Encounter Reservation Couple for S.C.
Mrs. Rossi lovingly devoted herself as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Surviving in addition to her husband of 55 years are four children, Tricia Rossi DiCampli of Wilmington, DE, Debra Rossi Burks and husband, Keith, of Lincoln, NE, Ronald J. Rossi, Jr. and wife, Michele, of Greenville, and Linda Rossi Stenson and husband, Sean, of Orange Park, FL; ten grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and brother, Philip J. Dreger, Jr. of Atlanta, GA.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at 12:30 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, with visitation prior from 10:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Entombment will follow the service in Woodlawn Memorial Park Remembrance Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Neurological Institute, Attn: Mary D. Hughes, M.D., 200 Patewood Dr., Suite B350, Greenville, SC 29615.
