Farmer "Junior" Lee Cleveland Jr.

Greenville

Farmer "Junior" Lee Cleveland Jr., husband of Jean Mauldin Cleveland, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 22, 2013.

Mr. Cleveland was born in Anderson to the late Farmer Lee Cleveland Sr. and Luna Epps Cleveland. He retired from Judson-Milliken Plant and was a member of Welcome Baptist Church. He was a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Army. Junior was a devoted husband and father for over 60 years.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three sons, Al Cleveland and his wife Beverly, David Eugene Cleveland, and Kenneth Cleveland and his wife Susan; a daughter, Karen Smith and husband Craig; a sister, JoAnn Bailey; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by four brothers, J.C., T.E., Alfred, and Grady Cleveland; and a sister, Lucy Bailey.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Welcome Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Dusty Raines. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

The family will be at the home of Craig and Karen Smith, 1423 Anderson Ridge Road in Greer.
