Hack Moore

Haskell Odes "Hack" Moore, 79, husband of Martha Jo Garrett Moore for 55 years, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 7, 2014.

Mr. Moore was born in Woodruff to the late Willie Moore and Maude Rhodes Moore. He retired from Penske Truck Lines and was a member of Antioch Christian Church. He was a USMC veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. Hack enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, and cutting grass.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons and their wives, Barry and Teresa Moore, and Steven and Susan Moore; a daughter, Lisa Butler; two sisters, Shelby Messer and husband Kenneth, and Margaret Barnett; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday at Antioch Christian Church, officiated by Rev. Doug Marsceau. Burial, with Military Honors, will be in the church cemetery.
