Vivian Wilson Orr

Vivian Wilson Orr, 80, wife of Charles "Chuck" K. Orr, Sr., died Monday, February 24, 2014.

Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Norman Stokes and Hassie Ellen Dean Wilson.

Mrs. Orr was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

Vivian W. Orr in her own words: "I never made jam or jelly or learned how to sew, knit or embroider. I never volunteered for anything - I was afraid they would want me to do something. I enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.

I married the most wonderful man (Chuck Orr) in the world. He was so good to me. Chuck and I owned and operated Chuck's Bumper and Glass for forty years and met a lot of nice people.

Together we had the greatest family: our children, Michael Shane Orr (Cindy), Charles K. Orr, Jr. "Chuckie", Tina Alison Orr Goins (Scott); five precious grandchildren, Carly Ann Marie Orr, a student at USC in Columbia, Charles K. Orr III "Chase" of Clemson, Hayden Joseph Goins, Samuel Vernon Goins, and Ava Scott Goins, all students; a sister, Joyce Knight "Sweetie" of Easley; and a lot of wonderful nieces and nephews who were so good to me and whom I loved very much; my friend, Sue and Charles Runnels of Eureka Springs, AR.

Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for me."

Mrs. Orr was preceded in death by three brothers, George Wilson, James Wilson, and Billy Wilson; and three sisters, Bobbie Owens, Doris Galloway, Lois Harvey.
