Irene S. Fish
Irene S. Fish, 86, of Greenville, wife of the late Alvah Milburn Fish, went to be with the Lord on February 27, 2014.
Born in Gastonia, NC, she was a daughter of the late Narval and Lizzie Smith.
She retired as Bindery Supervisor from Eastern Business Forms.
Irene was a long time member of New Life Tabernacle of Praise where she played the piano and was very active in the Ladies Ministry.
She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Fish, and Cynthia Gilliland and her husband, Bishop Danny, all of Greenville; two sons, Dale Fish and his wife, Marilyn, of Simpsonville, and Dennis Fish of Greer; four grandchildren, Danielle McIntyre and her husband, David, of Greenville, Tim Gilliland and his wife, Renee, of Simpsonville, Dana Spadafora and her husband, Patrick, of Simpsonville, and Jason Fish and Amber Webb, of Greenville; seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; her sister, Macey Reep of Charlotte, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Angela Elaine Gilliland; two sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3, 2014 from 1:30 - 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast, 1604 NE Main Street, Simpsonville, SC, with a funeral service following at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel.
Burial will follow the service at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
