Alice Kathleen Stockton Solesbee Taylor, 80, of 10 Hazel Street, died March 1, 2014 at National Health Care. Her first husband was the late Earle Solesbee.
She was the daughter of the late Furman and Annie Stockton.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Taylor of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Earleen Solesbee Medlock and Keith and Kathy Solesbee Kemp and Norman of Taylors; two step-sons, Keith and Shane; one step-daughter, Tonya Sandless; two brothers, Toy and Furman Stockton; two sisters, Ruby Aileen Farrell and Lou Averman; five grandchildren, Steven Kemp (Jennifer), April Bridwell (Jason), Amanda Pace (Justin), Stephanie Howard (Rusty) and Corey Medlock (Halie) and eight great-grandchildren, Clayton, Shelby, and Wyatt Kemp, Autumn and Brock Bridwell, Carmindy and Carrington Howard and Emma-Grace Medlock.
Mrs. Taylor was predeceased by two grandchildren, Stephen Russell Kemp and Kathy Miranda Kemp.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Wood Mortuary. Burial will follow in Tyger Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday at Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Kathy Kemp, 1625 Groce Meadow Road, Taylors, S.C. 29687.
