Patricia Robinson Ridgeway


Patricia Robinson Ridgeway, 73, of Greenville, widow of Charles Morris Ridgeway, passed away Sunday, March, 30, 2014 at McCall Hospice House.

Born in Greenville on February 18, 1941, she was the daughter of the late James Davis and Nelle Bowen Robinson.

Patricia attended St. Mary's Catholic School, and was a 1958 graduate of Greenville High School. She worked in the Insurance Industry, from which she retired after 43 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she was a volunteer at the church, and involved with both the Ladies Bible Study, and the St. Mary's Women's Club.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Gallagher, of Greenville; her son, James M. "Jimmy" Gallagher, and his wife, Leslie M. Gallagher, of Taylors; and two grandchildren, Evan, and Alexa Gallagher.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. in Sacred Heart Hall at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon in the Church. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The Family will be at the home of Mary Gallagher, 311 W. Earle St. Apt. B-35, Greenville, SC 29609.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 111 Hampton Ave., Greenville, SC 29601; or Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W. Georgia Rd., Simpsonville, SC 29680.
