Wilma Gault


Wilma Rodgers Gault, 94, widow of Franklin Gault, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 23, 2014.

Mrs. Gault was born August 8, 1919, in Fork Shoals, to the late Adger and Ellie Massey Rodgers. She retired as a school teacher from the Greenville County School System, where she taught in Piedmont, Fork Shoals, Simpsonville and Hillcrest schools. She was a member of Fork Shoals Baptist Church. She was a graduate of North Greenville University, Lander University and Furman University.

Surviving are several cousins, nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Marion Lancaster. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Cannon Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to Fork Shoals Baptist Church, 110 Church Road, Pelzer, SC 29669.

The family will be at the home of Phil and Julia Baynes, 1149 N. Main Street, Ft. Inn, SC.
