Hwi Ja "Kim" Langley, 73, went into the arms of her Savior on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 after a long courageous battle with health issues.

Born February 8, 1941 near Seoul, South Korea, Mrs. Langley moved to Greenville in 1989. A licensed Realtor, she faithfully served her local real estate clients and associates for 20 years, delighting those who knew her with her passion and sense of humor. A deacon in her church, Mrs. Langley inspired and encouraged everyone around her with her deep, abiding faith.

She is predeceased by her parents, An Jai & Yeon Young Kim; her brothers Jae Won Kim and Tai Won Kim; and a beloved nephew, Tommy Proud.

Left to miss her presence for the rest of their lives are her husband of 51 years, Kenneth Langley; daughters Susan (Harold) Smith and Helen Langley Naples; son Brian (Courtney) Langley; siblings Jerry Kim, June Kim, Jeannie Rice, Jin Won Kim and Mona Vosen; grandchildren: Lindsay Impavido, Anna and Mia Naples, Brooks and Carson Langley; step grandchildren: Michael and Kelly Smith; great-grandson, Quincy Sasser; and a slew of cherished nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be Saturday, May 10 at 3:00PM at Mackey Mortuary. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 pm.
