Lizzie Mae Skelton Chastain

Lizzie Mae Skelton Chastain, 86, widow of Wilbur E. Chastain, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014.

Born in Hart County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Archie and Annie Bowen Skelton.

Mrs. Chastain retired from First Federal Savings and Loan and was a member of West Gantt First Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Tony Chastain and wife, Mary Ann, of Chapin and Terrell Chastain and wife, DaNel, of W. Columbia; two sisters, Agnes Chastain and Evelyn Clardy both of Hartwell, GA; a brother, Brownie Skelton of Fountain Inn; four grandchildren, Ian Chastain, Elizabeth Chastain, Lauren C. Baston and Evan Chastain; and one great granddaughter, Ryan Baston.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 12, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown with the funeral service following at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to West Gantt First Baptist Church, 1452 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29605.

The family will be at their respective homes.
