Dorothy "Dot" Manly



Dorothy "Dot" Manly Williams, 87, of Greenville, widow of William Boyd Williams, died Thursday, May 8, 2014.

Born in Inman, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Jesse Hiram and Minnie Elizabeth Burton Manly, Sr.

Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and a member of City View First Baptist Church where she a member of Deborah Sunday School Class.

Surviving are her children, Kenneth Williams (Sue), Steve Williams (Giselle), Linda Rumfelt (Mike), and David Williams; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.

Mrs. Williams was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by son, Rick Williams; three sisters; and three brothers.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 12, 2014 from 11:45 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with the funeral service following at 1:30 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to City View First Baptist Church, 2300 West Blue Ridge Drive, Greenville, SC 29611.

The family will be at the home of Steve Williams.
