Linda Carol Farr Moore

Linda Carol Farr "Mickey" Moore, 70, of 223 Country Manor Rd, went home to be with her Lord and Savior May 10, 2014.

Born February 5, 1944 in Greenville, SC, and raised by her beautiful Grandmother, Lelia "Brucie" Dacus Farr, she was the first of four daughters born to the late Virginia Farr and Charles Radford Howard.

A graduate of Parker High School, member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church, and an accomplished cosmetologist, Mrs. Moore's career spanned employment with Fashion Fair, Vogue Fashions, and Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Carlton Ray Moore, and a son, Charlie Ray Moore of Piedmont; three sisters, Mary Frances Broome, and husband, Larry, of Comer, GA, Barbara Lee Cannon and husband, Calvin, of Greenwood, SC, and Vickie Ann Davenport and husband, Ronnie, of Fitzgerald, GA.

Special thanks to the Greenville Hospital Cancer Center and their special angel "Cassie", Carolyn Moore, Dr. Kim Gococo, Pastor and Mrs. Johnny Touchet, members of Mount Moriah Baptist Church, and "The Golden Girls" of Parker High School, class of 1962.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, with Service immediately following in the Chapel. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 9813 Anderson Rd., Piedmont, SC.
