Jewell Bair Rebman, age 77 of 3 Hoke Smith Blvd. Rolling Green Retirement Village went to her heavenly home on May 16, 2014. She passed peacefully in the loving care of her family, friends and Lutheran Hospice at her home. She was the daughter of John and Lillian Templeton, and was predeceased by her husbands, Jack Henry Rebman of Greenville, SC and John Butler Bair of Orangeburg, S. C.
She is a member of Pelham Road Baptist Church in Greenville and prior was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Orangeburg where she worked with the Junior Department and young people. She lived at Rolling Green Village for 21 years and has served on many committees and loved and ministered to many residents. Rolling Green Village was her home and the residents her extended family.
She is survived by one son, Dale B. Bair (Val) of Orangeburg, S.C., two daughters, Dianne B. Adair (William) of Lawrenceville, Ga. and Donna B. Aitken (Tom) of Greer, S.C. She has nine grandchildren, David Aitken, Patty Aitken, Heather Riley, Sally Huntley, Lisa Mims, Leslie Crowder, Stacie Yoakum, Ashley Pratt, Kevin Adair and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one brother Oswald R. Templeton and two sisters, Leola Barrs and Nell Mackay. She is survived by two brothers, John Templeton and Wendell Templeton of Cayce, S.C.
The Memorial in celebration of her life, will be held at 9am on May 24, 2014 at Rolling Green Village , Greenville, SC with Dr. John Roy of Pelham Road Baptist officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Orangeburg, SC at 3pm on May 24. 2014. Memorial may be made to Village Foundation of Rolling Green Village Retirement Community, 1 Hoke Smith Blvd. Greenville, S.C. 29615 or Lutheran Hospice of Greenville, SC.
