Anselm Henry "Hank" Miller, 86, husband of Linda Dalton Miller for 56 years, died Saturday, June 21, 2014.

Mr. Miller was born in Greenville to Anselm Irvin Miller and Marie Howze Miller. He enjoyed gardening, racing motorcycles, and researching genealogy. Hank was a proud retired veteran of the U.S. Navy. He served as a corpsmen during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He was also a huge NASCAR fan.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are four sons, Michael Miller, Timothy Miller, Furman Miller, and William Miller; two daughters, Michelle Meier and husband Zack, and Sheryl Miller; fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Frank Miller; and a sister, Lilly Forrester.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Burial, with full military honors, will be in Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
