Hugh "Fox" Crain


Hugh D. "Fox" Crain, 78, of 3925 N. Highway 101, died June 27, 2014 at his home.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Manley and Lois Barton Crain, he was a graduate of Mountain View High School, a U.S. veteran of the South Carolina National Guard after 34 years of service and a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Sonja and David Lipscomb of Greer; a son, Tommy Crain of Greer; two grandchildren, Seth and Tori Crain; a brother, Truman Crain of Greer; and a niece, Amanda Crain.

Mr. Crain was predeceased by one grandson, Austin Crain.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, conducted by Dr. David Boiter and Rev. Larry Atkins.

Visitation will be held after the service at the home of his daughter, Sonja Lipscomb, 3931 N. Highway 101, Greer, SC 29651.

The family is at the home.
