Mildred Pace Williams


Mildred Pace Williams, born 4/5/1927 left this world peacefully 7/2/2017 to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born Mildred Thelma King to parents Doc and Bertha King, Millie grew up in Greenville, S.C. and graduated from Parker High School.

Mrs. Williams was the widow of the late "Coach" Zane Williams. Mrs. Williams was a people person who never met a stranger, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She was also a career woman who served as a fashion buyer and manager with both Ivey's and Belk's department stores. Upon retirement she volunteered at Berea First Baptist Church where she was a member.

Mrs. Williams is survived by sons and daughter-in-laws Rick and Linda Pace, Bill and Genice Pace, two grandsons Jared and Derek Pace, one granddaughter Hillary Tester and her husband Phillip, and one great grandson Harrison Tester.

Memorial services will be held at Berea First Baptist Church at 2:30 PM Saturday July 5, 2014. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Alzheimer's research or the . Cremation Society of South Carolina
