Modena M. Kelley

Six Mile

Modena Mann Kelley, 79, of Six Mile and wife of Frank Kelley, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 at her home.

Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Franklin Mann and Sallie Duckworth Mann.

Mrs. Kelley was retired from Kelley Builders of Six Mile and Stewart Lumber Company and was a member of Ridgeland Drive Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband of 62 years, she is survived by three sons, Greg Kelley (Debbie) of Six Mile, Terry Kelley (Lisa) of Soddy Daisy, TN, and Roger Kelley (Teressa) of Liberty; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mildred Smith and Frances Bryson, both of Six Mile.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Sarah Davis.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at 4:30 PM in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:30 PM until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.

The Men's Class and the Gleaners Class of Ridgeland Drive will serve as Honorary Escorts.
