Opal Bishop Hagin

Opal Bishop Hagin, 80, of Marietta, widow of Gilbert Ferrell Hagin, died Saturday, August 16, 2014.
Born in Chetek, WI, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Myrtle Bishop.
Mrs. Hagin attended Gap Creek Baptist Church. She was a retired teacher who loved collecting bears and playing the piano.
She is survived by five sons, Linwood and wife Lisa, Scott and wife Peggy, Garrett, and wife Jaymee, Bret, and Bart and wife Jade; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a brother Lee Bishop.
In addition to her loving husband of 47 years she is preceded in death by two sisters; and four brothers.
Visitation will be held at Gap Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
