Clarence Bennett


Another child of God has entered into his holy presence. Clarence Randall "Randy" Bennett, 54, entered Heaven's gates Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006.

A 1970 graduate of Parker High School, Randy proudly served his country in active duty as a United States Marine, followed by 12 years in the Marine Corps Reserves. He was a former member of the Pelzer Masonic Lodge and was employed by W.W. Grainger Inc. in Fountain Inn. He was of the Baptist faith.

Randy is survived by his wife, Linda, and daughter, Crystal, of the home; daughter Tina Fulbright and her husband, Danny, of Greenville; daughter Kimberly Miller and her husband, Joe, of Honea Path, and their three sons, Tyler, Aaron and Ethan; and a brother and his wife, Roger and Cheryl Bennett of Greenville; and his parents, Zenobia and Johnny McMakin of Cross Hill. He was predeceased by his father, Clarence Raymond Bennett.

Randy was a devoted husband, "Daddy," "Papa," and son.

Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Easley.

The family is at the home of Danny and Tina Fulbright, 11416 Anderson Road, Greenville.
