Cecil Lankford Duffie, Jr., 62, of Greenville, SC, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011. He was the son of the late Cecil L. Duffie, Sr. and Mary Dodd Duffie.

Mr. Duffie is a 1971 graduate of the University of South Carolina where he served as the president of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He was an avid hunter and was a sponsor for the Mobility Impaired Hunt for many years.
He was a successful entrepreneur in the world of business. His many accomplishments include, Vice President with the Robinson Humphrey Co., co-founder of Dial-Page, served as CEO of Cambar Solutions in Charleston, and at the time of his death, he was in partnership with Upland Home Builders of Greenville.
Mr. Duffie will long be remembered for being a great leader with a vision. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to others.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Robin Dietz Duffie; two sons, Patrick Neil Duffie and Christopher Robin Duffie; and two brothers, Robert (Pam) Duffie of Marietta, SC, and Boyce (Susan) Duffie of Cary, NC.
Services will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at Mauldin United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clarence Kanipe officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 1 to 3, followed by the service at 3.
