Charles Everette Riddle, 80, of 451 Youngs Schoolhouse Rd., died Sunday, June 05, 2011 at his home.
A native of Laurens County, he was the son of the late Everette and Juanita Whittaker Riddle and the widower of Willie Ruth Bishop Riddle. He was a member of Bramlett United Methodist Church and was a retired sales associate with Sherwin Williams.
Survivors include a special friend; Patricia Taylor, two daughters; Barbara Parris and her husband Rick of Fountain Inn, Susan Hughes and her husband Mike of Gray Court, one brother; Bobby Riddle of Greenville, one sister; Betty Donald of Spartanburg, six grandchildren; Dena Parris, Lisha Ferrell, Stephanie Hall, Melissa Gault, Lori Parris Kallensee and Kristin Parris, eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son; David Riddle, and three brothers; Johnny, Joe and Paul Riddle.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 08, 2011 at Bramlett United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Steve Ramey and Rev. Renee Garrison. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home of a daughter, Susan Hughes, 635 Hwy. 92 in Gray Court.
