Louise Brown Coker, 92, of Piedmont, died Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Married 59 years, she was the widow of William Bruce Coker.
Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late W.L. and Annie Pearl McWhite Brown.
Mrs. Coker was a member of Welcome Baptist Church. She worked at Dunean Mill and Stone Manufacturing and was a homemaker.
Surviving are a son, Tom Coker and his wife, Alice, of Piedmont; a daughter, Ginger Smith and her husband, Mike, of Greenville; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and her twin sister, Elise Bowen.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles Coker; a brother, W.L. Brown, Jr; and five sisters, Mary Looper, Nell Shirley, Mildred Meaders, Evelyn Brock and Edna Forrester.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. A graveside service will be held Friday, January 20, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery, West.
